Most Popular Brand of Road Bike in your Area?
As the topic states, what road bike is most popular in your area? I'll list a few brands, and if the bike isn't on the list, just reply with the information.

I don't do group rides (yet) so I can't really say I've seen alot of cyclist. But from my commute I saw
-A Litespeed
-A Trek (not sure which one)
-A Trek Tri bike
And a bunch of fixed gear messenger wannabes every morning as I pass the Coffee Bean.

I see a lot of Serotta bikes, Trek's, Specialized, and of course the Crank-and-Fail's (Cannondale).

I see a ton of Treks and Lemonds which I consider to be the same. Then again their facotry isn't to far away so not seeing a lot of Treks here would be like not seeing a Ford or Chevy in Detroit.
I ride a Giant.
I ride a Giant.

This is good information for bikers wanting to get a bike that isn't as popular. I'm suprised to see that Trek is in the lead BTW.... I would that thought Cannondale would be right up there.

Ride it like you stole it
Trek and Cannondale, I have also seen many Lemonds which kind of surprises me. My daughter and I seem to have the only Motobecanes around. I have only seen one or two Litespeeds and no other Ti bikes other than my TST.

Lots of Cannondales in the DC area on the various multi-use paths. On the roads, I don't see very many people. The handfull I've seen probably rock the Treks more than anything else.

Trek by far here in WI, followed by Giant and Lemond. Cervelo seems to be a choice of a lot of the ironman riders around here thanks to one of the local shops that and quintana roo for price.

Trek's pretty prevalent but they also have good dealer networks and distribution channels. Then it's Specialized, Giant, LeMond, Cannondale, Fuji, Bianchi and Litespeeds. There are however a good number of "boutique" brands as well such as my Aegis, Seven, Serotta as well as local brands such as TiCycle, Davidson, Rodriguez, Softride, Co-Motion. I'm also seeing quite a few Felts. Every so often there's the random Pinarello, DeRosa and Colnago.

Here, it's rare to see a bike at all. The only ones I have seen have been a Giant, a Specialized and a Look. The Look is my dad's. If I had to pick one though, it be Magna. They're usually ridden by the migrant workers by the local Home Depot.

Just riding around, I'd say Trek. But on the River Ride, there are more Steve Rexes than Treks. Of course, one of those is ridden by Steve himself.

Around here there are quite a few Felts and Spez plus some of the other popular brands (i.e., Trek and Giant) then a smattering of unusual labels. Keeps it interesting trying to figure out what the next guy is riding.
