Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Wearing something like that around here is sure to get yer a$$ kicked, and this isn't even a very bad place as far as that sort of thing goes.

See I couldn't find the Bell Sweep R in Pink...that would actually be the correct helmet.

If you are serious they are on sale at biketiresdirect.com

Oh and you have to have the proper white team CSC edition Sidis to go with this kit...no way black shoes go with that.

Actually, now that I think about it, I have this redneck neighbor who looks at me VERY suspiciously in my standard black Perf shorts and plain blue jersey. I wonder what he would think of this pink kit.

Big risk, indeed. I tell you what. People see a man on his bike, wearing that kit, and they know he's not afraid of anything.

Not buying the shoes sorry. But I will send you $20 if you post a photo of you in the full kit doing a group ride.

Hmm maybe I need to buy it to wear to the CBM next summer. LOL

Wait a min... doesn't the pink jersey have significance in the Giro? i.e., it's what the overall leader wears? Beware then, that others may see you as being a poser for wearing it... not that a man wearing that kit would care what others think. I'm just putting it out there.

I was so looking for the socks...I think CSC has white rimed glasses (they wear Smith glasses, the CSC editions are white) so those would work with the Pink. What color helmet did Basso wear? I am guessing Pink but they never sold it.

Whateva, Ill find a group ride. I dont need the 20 bux though. Im more worried about wearing Giro leader colors than just the fact that it is pink. I like pink thats no big deal. Maye I can hool up with a training ride that I know of in waco. I doubt I can hang onto those guys for very long but Ill try to get pics lol.

I only wear starter sportsox. I'm gonna wear my yellow bell sweep even though it wont match for ****. The helmet matches all My other kit so I can rightly paint it.
