DC/MD/VA - help with routes

I've recently moved to DC (I live in NW on the Chevy Chase line) and don't know any routes for road biking. Would anyone be willing to share some of their favorite routes in DC area? If possible perhaps a 30, 50, and 75 mile route? I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out.

Welcome! You'll want to check into Potomac Pedalers. Lots of great cues on their site, but you may need to become a member to see them:

https://www.potomacpedalers.org/default.asp?

Also, check out the local bike forum (it's not just for Arlington, despite the name):

https://bikearlingtonforum.com/forum.php

You'll see tons and tons of riders going out Macarthur Blvd to River Road, Potomac etc.

Beach Drive on weekends is a good starting place.

MacArthur gets you out to River Road, which gets you out into the rural parts of Montgomery County. Good riding around Poolesville.
