Blocking a user?
It has been so long since I have blocked a forum member around here I have forgotten how to do it. Well we have a new forum member that I find so obnoxious I would like to block. How do I block a forum member?

Thanks. They certainly don't make it easy.

If they are truly egregious, wouldn't some guidance from higher up, or even nicely from you help?
Noobies don't always check out the rules and even if they might eventually figure it out and become less of a friction source, that and New Kid In Town Syndrome among existing members are the No. 1 cause of premature membership death.
And last I ever checked blocking does not stop quotes...unless that's changed.
Ultimately the best defence is to stop paying attention to them, report whatever you need to and carry on.
