'81 Raleigh models
A friend has an '81 Raleigh, I find out tomorrow what model.
I'm hoping for the steel blue Professional Mark V, sporting Campy Nuevo.
Or, the gold-laquered Superbe, assembled with, naturally, a Suntour Superbe group.
Of course, I'd also be excited about the Competition GS, Campagnolo Gran Sport equipped.
'The Headbadge' - Vintage bicycle information
The rest of that year's lineup:
Touring 14
Super Coarse
Super Grand Prix
Gran Sport
Gran Prix
Super Record
Reliant

They didn’t even say what color it is?
I’m hoping for the best.

Hmm, "Super Coarse". There's a Freudian slip, if ever I saw one.

Well, its apparently a 3-speed model, called a "Sports".
I'll slide this over to the Appraisal section...

It is indeed a Sports...and in original, mint condition.
Usually not my cup of tea, but with the odometer reading 59 miles...I might not be able to pass it up!
