The XT thumbies and brake levers have been replaced by nasty modern units, but the price is right.

I'm curious about the steering (it must steer like a canoe!). The ad says it's using drum brakes.

Oh yeah; I usu gloss over the "boxed" data, since so many CL'ers mistakenly think they're required, and fill in a lot of nonsense for items they know nothing about, rather than just skipping them.

to the extent that that thing "works", I'm guessing its intended use is parades, or something like that.

In the alternate universe known as Budget Bicycle Center in Madison, Wi ... "PX50s routinely sell for over $1k."

This bike will certainly sell to a buyer who is equally detached from reality. It is Billyburg after all.

$850 can get you a vrai-vrai 60s/70s French 650B ranndonneuse if that's what you're in the market for.

Rather spendy, but these don't pop up very often. If you have a wall hanger Japanese bike on which SunTour Superbe components would be de rigeur, these might be that final finishing touch. I wouldn't call the seller desperate, but the price started at $129, dropped to $119, and was just offered to me (and everyone else watching, I presume) $109. I watched them out of curiosity, not because I intended to bid or buy.

Circle A Cycles Road Bike - $800

Custom made Circle A Cycles road bike. Steel frame. This bike is the smoothest and fastest steel bike I’ve ever ridden. It was built to race, but it’s comfortable for all day rides. Handmade in Providence, Rhode Island. It’s 56 cm. Campagnolo Record and some Chorus mixed in. The wheel are amazing Cane Creek 700s. The rear wheel has titanium spokes. This is really the nicest bike I’ve ever ridden. It accelerates like a dream and climbs crazy. Excellent condition.

See the low price of the Cilo?

https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...183330690.html

Cilo Road Bike 54cm Shimano 105 - $250 (Jamaica Plain)

Good condition Cilo road bike, frame made of Tange 1 steel. It’s 54cm, so best for someone 5’7-5’11.

The seat post, bar tape and break hoods are brand new. It has all Shimano 105 components, downtube 105 shifters, 6 speed in the back. The shifting is smooth, the break pads can use a little re-aligning.

It’s a really good looking bike that can go fast. And is ready for a home where it’ll be used and loved.

Yeah well, that's like, just your opinion man.
Based on the frame/fork colour I think this is a 1990 Fusion. Original RM catalogue here; https://www.bikes.com/sites/default/...%20English.pdf
