2hr yesterday. 10 x 1 one legged drills. 10 x 1 high cadence. 10' @FTP. Remainder of time in z1/2
Making a kilometer blurry
This is all better than Kevin Spacey in the opening scene of American Beauty. Probably still TSS though.

I have chilblains on my toes. They hurt a lot. Let this be a lesson to you all, do not allow yourself to get frostbite, like, ever, as I suspect these are the residual affects.
Today is a light weight routine followed by 1.5hrs z2/3. Probably doing it on the trainer, as the wind is so gnarly it just blew my ****in front door open...

Froze my butt off during my 1 hr z1 ride this morning. Would have helped if I had my jacket in my apartment instead of at home!

Woke up this morning, saw 30 degrees temp, thought no problem on choosing to commute by bike to work. I seriously regretted this 5 minutes down the road. An hour later when I got to work, I checked the temperature again because I knew I must have looked at a different city or something. I was freaking frozen. Windchill was 19 (an hour after I left home). Oops.
Mental note, always check temperature AND wind chill.

Thought about doing 2 hours of Z2 on top of the 30 minutes of Z1 that is my commute.
Decided to stay home and rest instead.
Legs feel a little sore today and it is a 3 day weekend coming up. And I'm planning on a "big" day riding on Monday if it shakes out that way with some team mates: ride to Micanopy, meet up with folks doing a pre-ride of the "Doc Hollywood" course, ride home. That should come out to about 100 miles with a lot of unpaved roads. I did that for the pre-ride last year. My legs were "well toasted" after that.

yeah, sorta. Been doing bursts (less than 15") on any short ride less than SST intensity throughout the winter, though i haven't done those 10" bursts since early December.
Anaerobic efforts are my weak points, and i donno how I feel about trying to improve it at the expense of VO2max and FTP power. The plan right now is to use early season racing as training for anaerobic stuff.

I'm in for the 3's. I would join my teammates for the P/1/2/3 afterward for the experience and workout but I have to get my gf back in town for work.

Hellish ride today. Temps in the low 70's. 1:01 and 15.5 miles. 115 watts average. Somehow I made it back alive to be revived by chocolate milk and a fig newton.
I needed exactly this. Especially since tomorrow is going to be a bloodbath.

1x5 blowout then 1hr tempo with (12) 20s seated sprints at 200% in the 53-13. The last three dropped down to 180%.

1X80 @ CP180 on the rollers. 1109 KJ of goo burning work is about all I got out of this. The only upside is I got my bluetooth setup working so I can hear DVD's and TV through my headphones instead of cranking the TV volume to 100 to overcome my industrial fan. There should probably be a comma there somewhere...

Team mate of mine had shirts made that say "I win team rides" - I should post the link so you can buy one too!
