I have a couple of halfs coming up in March, so I have to get in a longish LSD run on Sunday. Fatigued earlier in the week, so I'm taking off shortly. 7 last night, 9 tonight and 13 on Sunday. I like running at night. You don't get either of the extreme ends of the weather. In the summer, it gets cooler as you go.
More power to you. I hate running. You doing monster cross by chance or any of the crits at bryan park this year?

No, the yellows aren't close to matching. Perhaps they'll get closer as the bar tape fades... Until then, I'm going to have to believe they're different enough to call them complimentary:
The Technomic stem is in past the line. This is a rider for me. The seat will likely rise 1 or 2 cm, and hopefully I'll lose enough weight and gain enough flexibility to lower the stem as well.
Thanx for all the pun!

I've only been a runner/cyclist since about 2010. I had to quit the court sports because of Plantar Fasciitis, so I became an endurance athlete. Mediocre MOP to BOP at best, but it's something to do. I could probably be a good track cyclist, but the closest track to us is 300 miles to the north or 300 miles to the south. Anyway, time to run.

No and no. Bryan Park starts a little too early. I can't get there in time. Dan333 races trac. The races are on YouTube. He's on the Sweet Spot Cycling team. Tall, dark headed guy on a black Trek with orange shoes. Bryan Park is like a NASCAR super speedway. The racing is boring. If you can make it, the Newport News Twilight Crit is the one to do. Look at it on YouTube. Pedal to the medal on kind of a figure 8 course. Lots of accelerations. You either have it or you don't. If you don't, you're out quickly.

Monster cross will be my first gravel, looking forward to it. Kind of leaning towards just doing gravel. I joined THR 2 years ago now I think.

Yep rained today. Hoping roads are dry by 8:00 tomorrow. No real sun forecast for awhile.

I hate the look of silver brake tracks on black rims.
Only LAJ actually gets it:
Also that Salsa seatpost has the best adjustment mechanism I've ever used.

Steerer yet to be trimmed
Billet cassette clearanced to fit on 7s cassette body, OLD pushed out to 132, pretty minimal dish with the OCR. Pedals shaved to minimum stack height, buckles deleted from straps
Number of the beast
I have another one of these, but a size too large. Looked for one in this size forever since, pretty much gave up. Then I shaved all the cable guides and made it full internal Di2 with 9000; that bad boy weighs 6.14 with 50mm deep tubulars...
Less than a year after that, I found another one in the right size. Gonna have to repeat the surgery at some point... Probably with the addition of internal brake cable; I think I have that nearly figured out.

It's amazing how wrong you all are about the polished silver rims.

I don't have anything against polished silver rims. Got 3 or 4 sets of them. Sometimes you can mix and match. Sometimes you have to make a choice. Sometimes neither is right and you have to go a different direction. When you have both chrome/silver and black on the bike, I think black rims with silver tracks tie it all together. I could be wrong.

Definite not. I bet this rides nicely, but as others have noted the yellow/tan doesn't match. Also, there's a jumble of black/grey/silver/white and modern/vintage parts, so visually it's chaotic.
Looks pretty good to me aside from the levers being low and the bars tilted up.
So close to being hot - just needs black/dark grey brake calipers to match the rest of the build kit.
HOT!
Having judged others, here's my TCR:

Your paintjob is bangin'. But your position has no drop, and it's stock as a rock. Maybe take off the tool bag and bottles, and try to shoot it from an angle that makes the bars look lower?
