Shimano Freehub Tool Does Not Match Model Number TL-FH40

I just acquired this Shimano tool. Oddly, the model number stamp on the top is offset from center. “SHIMANO” and “FREE HUB” are readable, but what seems to be “TL-FH40 FREE HUB” is offset.

However, I searched for pictures of TL-FH40s and none of them matches this tool’s physical appearance! Anyone know what it is?

Does it say “TL-FH40”?

I just wonder how many angels can dance on it.

Yes, freehub tool for the long-obsolete Uniglide style freehubs.

Sorry for the duplicate pictures. Grr. And of course a couple now are on EBay (they weren’t there when I looked yesterday).

Thanks everyone.

It's for Dura Ace so you can probably sell it easily.
