I know one thing he is, and I have an sneaking suspicion about another. Wish I had taken a screen shot of his post list before he exceeded 500 posts.
In any event, I hear you. I have 5 weeks of vacation, and if I don't use them all, I can carry over 2 weeks, for a maximum of 7 in a year. But as you note, there are other things in life beside touring. At least there are in our lives.
Time to start planning my Katy Trail trip.

I got a warning ticket for staching my bicycle in the woods of a national park this summer. Maybe 100 feet from the road.
That sounds so much better than a fifty thousand post count.
How does a high post count effect the qualith of life and happiness?
Do people with the highest post counts have the most bitter answers?
If there was no computer in front of you and no tv would you be out walking your dog or riding to a trail head for a weekend hike?
What are the other choices besides electronic machines¿
How do computers effect the quality of life?
Trapped at work and trapped in front of a computer are not one and the same. Would pixel addicts be happier if they logged off and went out side ¿

Getting a ticket for stashing your bike in the weeds is quite an accomplishment.
