Why are rigid forks dangerous?
I found the Marin Pine Mountain with rigid forks but wondered why it said in a review that the rigid forks made it dangerous. In which kind of circumstances are rigid forks dangerous and are there ways to compensate your riding to overcome that?

ask the author. what review? got a link? never mind I see it's a mountain bike (of sorts) not a hybrid. so if you're going downhill & hit a rock & don't have a suspension fork it can thro off your balance & you might fall. (I'm sure an actual mountain biker can explain better & in more detail) if you're just using it like a hybrid on flat trails it should be fun

If there are a bunch of them in boxes on shelves and there is an earthquake and you are standing right below them, that can be dangerous.

generally not an issue, but this particular model had a recall for the fork
I run two mtbs full rigid and its the rider which makes it dangerous not the bike
