El Silencio- peru divide bikepacking film
Bikepacking collective/Tumble weed bikes (must be the same people behind them both) have a 25 min propaganda film
about cycling in Peru backcountry. Its not bad, but I wonder about public safety in such a place. They were okay because they had a film crew with them, I certainly wouldn't attempt it.

Worth watching for armchair bike packers.

really damn well made film, neat to watch but frankly too hard core or just plain hard for this old gringo, a good 25 years older than these guys.
I wonder how the heavier set fellows Arkel Dry lites held up?
Even though I just got home after commuting at -7c, the idea of being out travelling all day on my bike when its that cold doesnt appeal, skinny old gringo doesnt like being cold, but thats what you get at 4000 metres plus.
neat watch though, and having ridden through some remoteish parts of central mexico, I get the whole appeal to wide open areas with hardly any people and villages, it is cool and I always enjoyed these types of areas (although they were going through way more remote areas).
