Tyre Size for Dahon Boardwalk
I have one Dahon Boardwalk and I have doubt about the minimum and maximum size of the tyre.
20 x 1.00
20 x 1.25
20 x 1.35
20 x 1.5 (Fabric Default)
20 x 1.75
20 x 2.00
Which possibilities it is OK for this bike???

I recommend measuring the frame, for tire clearance.
all are fine from my perspective , you just cannot choose..
I have a 406 20" wheel bike , came with 47 wide , 1.75"
I have a set of the slightly narrower 40, or 1.5" for my next set..
schwalbe marathon greenguard for puncture resistance ..
heavy duty 'thorn resistant' inner tubes so I don't need to top up the psi so often

I think of putting a high pressure tire (> 40 psi) and with a measurement smaller than 20 x 1.5 that was what came from the factory on the bike.
I know if I put more than 1.5, I have to be careful not to grab the tire.

Quero colocar uma largura na bike abaixo dos 1.5, a minha ideia era colocar um pneu 20 x 1.00 ou 20 x 1.25 para rodar na cidade, no caso Barcelona.
A minha boardwalk rodou muito ai no Rio de Janeiro com o meu pai. E agora está comigo na Espanha.

go surf in aliexpress and buy some high quality hubs and doublewall rims.

451 is a larger narrow rim- skinnier tire combination in the nominal 20" wheel category ..
then you need a different brake because the rim is larger diameter..
406 to 451 is a radial difference of 22.5mm ....
In the past someone found an adapter for Direct pull brakes , V type.. frame pivots..
some one had made, for the purpose.. Online link.. picture, offered..
