Look Cleats Positioning
This has probably been done before....
I have had one pair of shoes that I had worn for years, and repaired several times.
I had tried to replace them, but I had trouble getting the Look Delta cleats in the same position.
So, finally the solution occurred to me:
I traced the outline of a cleat onto a 1/2" thick board and cut it out with a jigsaw.
I made sure it was a snug fit to the cleat.
I then inserted one cleat on my fav shoes into the hole and traced the outline of the sole.
Then I loosened the cleat on the replacement shoe and placed the cleat into the cutout.
I then adjusted the position of the shoe til it matched, tightening the cleat in position from the other side of the board.
Flip the board over to the other side for the opposite shoe.
I found that a shoe or 2 matched my favorite shoes, but others were off by a considerable margin.
Anyway, FWIW...…….
