My commute, shown via satellite
I thought it would be cool to show what my commute looks like via satellite. I put together this page, some may find it interesting:

Very cool. I think I'm going to do that and post it at work. I like the terraserver. I was surprised to find my house. The pic for my neighborhood is from 1997.
Nice pic!

wow awsome site linked on that first post, im in the process of mapping out my whole area. It's taking along time though becuase the map online is split up into small pictures so i have to copy and past them and then put the pictures together like a puzzle on microsoft excel (i dont have any picture editing programs and excel is big so i wont run out of room making a really big picture).
When im done i will not only be able to map my commute but also all of my local rides

It took me close to an hour to put together that half assed collage from this site
https://app.toronto.ca/lit/imapit/iMa...ewdefault=true
once you zoom in far enough click on the ariel view button on the left, that'll give you the satelite image of Toronto (post your route once you get the images pasted together...richmond hill is quite the hike if you commute downtown everyday)

OK. Here's a map for two of my routes across the Phoenix metro area. Warning! The map is 315kb.

Looking out the window I don't see a lot of snow, but according to this image we're just a big white spot.

Googles latest acqusition Keyhole also has some pretty stellar resolution of major urban areas. We're still a blob though.

Whoa! You could probably cut a couple or three miles off if you didn't do all that zig-zagging.
Just kidding.
It looks like you have a nice stretch through some non-urban areas.
