For me, I live two miles from the train station that I use to get to work. It made no sense to me to drive that short distance and pay $20/month.

I would find two miles a little too far for walking both ways every day, so of course I would bike that portion, but I don't bike on ice or snow. Is there a bus to the station that I could take in non-biking conditions if I lived in your situation? I assume there aren't as many non-biking days in West Virginia, but are there some conditions in which you wouldn't bike yourself?
