Hey what's up guys/gals. I'm having trouble with my Rotor crank. Not sure what the problem is but when I push forward the crankarm on driveside pops a bit same deal when I pull back. The arm shifts very little.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Does it do it when you push on the crank on the other side?

No only on drive side.

Check the chain ring bolts for tightness. Easiest way is to put a drop of oil one each one sucessively around the ring and try after each application. It will likely be one of the bolts. Smiles, MH

Be sure the pivot points aren't worn out. They don't move a lot but they need maintenance sometimes.

Remove the crank from the spindle. Re-read the instructions carefully. Re-insert the crank onto the spindle according to the instructions. Be sure to align the splines on the spindle with the notches on the back side of the crank, and press. Now tighten the crank bolt, making sure the splines are still sliding into the notches. If everything still lines up and the crank is no longer wobbling, tighten that bolt firmly--push hard but don't break your arm. If not, send photos and take it apart.

I've never installed Rotor cranks before in my life but I looked very carefully at the parts in their online catalog. Let us know how it goes.

So one of my cycling buddies on IG told me it could be a locking behind the face plate that might have come loose. Either way I'll be taking the crank apart and checking! I'll keep updating see what we find.
