I need a easy way to get my heart rate on my many rides.

I didn't miss where the OP has some sort of health condition that requires constant HR monitoring, did I? Because taking short, low-intensity E-bike rides, regardless of how many a day are ridden, barely qualifies as activity. I'm not going to log a 0.4 mile bike ride, because my HR will barely get above resting.
That's before we even get into the fact that HR is determined by a laundry list of factors, and having a bike that does 2/3 of the physical work is probably the biggest variable there is.

My bike now shows me how much power I am putting out verses my bike so I know exactly how hard I am working.
