Tall Cyclists - another post your ride here thread

Notices
Road Cycling ďIt is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.Ē -- Ernest Hemingway

6'1" (barely) with way outta proportion legs - 36.5" inseam

Spent a few years on a 61cm and just hated being up in the wind - always felt like I was above the draft.

The more recent build was a roll of the dice - dropped down to a 58cm with a lot of seat post and a long stem. I LOVE this set up.

the bars are probably fine, but the photo makes them look strange.

that saddle looks odd from any angle.

The bars are fine, yeah.

The saddle? The look is bizarre, for sure. Sadly, I really like riding on it so I tolerate that.

Seven

Here's my new custom Seven. I'm 6'2 with only 32" inseam and I'm not too flexible. The frame has a 60cm ETT and a rather huge head tube. Looks a bit front heavy, but I'm thrilled with it. It put's me in a very comfortable, yet efficient position, and I can use all the parts of the handlebars with comfort.

Oh, it looks weird in person too

Unless there's someone sitting on it, and then it's just because /I/ look weird.

Yeah -- I'm 6'7, and 34" inseam. Huge ape-factor with a 7' wingspan, though.

No-one believes me when I tell them I have short stubby legs. I don't know why.
