Mini victory.
Weather was decent enuff Saturday and I had a couple local errands to run. So I decided to give it a go on the bicycle. Total round trip was Probly only 5km. But that’s furthest I have pulled off since 2012 when my body got wrecked by a car hitting me.
The biggest victory for me wasn't the distance though it was more the fact that it felt GOOD and though a bit tender I was fine the following day. I had fun and actually decided to take a bit longer route home than technically needed. Only issue is weather turned sour Sunday and today so back to the stationary bike
.
Really looking forward to what spring brings.
Hoping to get an ebike in spring to supplement my current bikes for longer distances or to possibly tow a child trailer with my 3 year old or the new baby on the way

I did a solo 40 miler on Saturday on my roadie. Wife's car malfunctioning so today I took it to the mechanic, rode my bike home 1 mile. My legs still tender from Saturday so that 1 mile ride home on my MTB felt like a mini victory for me. I sure was happy when I got off the bike feeling great. Pressed for time or I probably would have toured the town.

Thanks all. I have done a few more similar rides since when weather permits. Been a lot of fun.

the balance bikes can go fast https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ilH612Blzw
HaHa. That’s awesome they going faster than I normally do these days lol.
On a side note I took in my hybrid bike for a good servicing and getting bigger tires put on it (hopefully soften the harsh ride up a bit).
