Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nice choice Cipher, are you getting the Record black brakes?
Rider888 that is a great looking bike, but there is something really out of place there, it needs a Campy makeover

I agree & will probably consider doing it if I can sell off my DuraAce groupset. Probably will be in my long term upgrading project though. Make it look like the Marco Pantani bike. Thanks & Cheers everyone.

I think he means Poletto Hanz's bike, yes what is it, also Andrea Carretta's and Davide Graziani's, all very, very nice bikes, modern art indeed!

The Poletto's bike name, La dama bianca, means, The white lady. Because the color

The Brugnolos' bike name, Il nido dell'aquila, means, The eagle nest. Because we call Andrea the Eagle so his bike is...

The Carretta's bike name, La bestia, means, The beast. Because he use to have an other bike before this one called The beautiful so.... like the movie...

The Graziani's bike name, Queanova, means, The newone. Because..... it's easy to understand

The Cunico,s bike name, l'astronave, means, The starship. Because he is our team faster man, and we call Roberto "The Alien", he made this year 27.000 km! and the year is not finished yet!!!

ciao

the Carretta's bike is a Kuota but i don't remember the frame name
Hanz own a local bike builder brand
Davide's bike is a Colnago, the frame i think is a old "Master"

Bakman,

what local builder?
with all that gorgeous Italian steel (and Alu etc.) I'd ask
why the Trek, but I guess I know the answer.
Nice rides, I especially like Graziani's Queanova.

Where are you guys located? there's a remote chance
I could be in Milan for work.

Ciao

Marty

Nice choice Lotek, I have searched my soul but find it hard to pick one, aesthetically the Trek is my least favourite, but as you say still some bike. I like all the De Rosa's, the Pinarello's are also really good, oh hell, I like them all!

Ciao Marty

First of all i thankyou, then let see... the local builders are really popular here, almost every bike shop is in fact a builder, you can chose the material you like from all the best producer, the geometry you prefer, and the size you have, than the colour (usually one or two, but in some place is art decor) and so all the components. I live in Vicenza, Veneto region where i think 90% of italian bike products are made, and many Pro. came from! It's no difficult find them during theme rides almost every week! Rebellin, Pozzato, Ferrigato, Facci, Faresin live all in a 20 km radius(?) from my house.

The trek 'cose when i bought it 3 years ago, it fit all my needs, beautifull, very good steering(?), comfortable, all life warranty, light... perfect!

The Team is based in Thiene, Vicenza, 40 min. by car north-west Venice, if you come from Milan it takes two hours more or less.
If you understand italian or just for the pics, have a look of our site below. ciao
