Campy power torque gap on LHS
I just did a new install of a new campy power torque crank, and there is a big gap on the left hand side. Because of the gap between the crank arm (non drive side) and the bb cup, you can still see the wavy spring and the dust seal.

The crank arm is on pretty tight. Is anyone familiar with the problem I'm having.

There is obviously something wrong with your installation. Campy cranks will properly fit bikes with standard 68mm wide English BB shells or 70mm wide Itlaian BB shells. When installed properly, the wavy washer will not be exposed.

The gap is closed now. I rode three times. Each time I was able to tighten it some more.
I greased both spindles as instructed. I greased the hex spindle and the inner threads. I originally tightening it beyond torque spec, where it would not budge. I know this was not advised, but I set the drive side crank against wood blocks and used a rubber mallet, and it didn't help. I think riding helped loosen the threads, each time it was easier and easier. Now the hex screw moves with the torqued force.
