That's annoying, at least the site snaps into correct formatting within a few seconds for me, except when there's photos. It won't properly format until all photos are loaded.

I see what you all are referring to...the text box takes a couple seconds or be even more to become 'full sized'.
But is this the site's fault or a recent browser update for you?
I can almost tie it to the launching of FF 65.x.x and the behavior continues into 66.0.2
And by the way, if you haven't enabled auto updates please update Firefox immediately! Critical memory issues were found that could lead to freezing and compromise and 66.0.2 addressed two of those bugs.

From e.g. https://www.bikeforums.net/bicycle-mechanics/, the link to a thread's latest post frequently goes to the top of an intermediate page in the thread. Chromium on a Windows laptop.

I tried waiting a few minutes with no luck. For example, in a four page thread the last-post-link goes to the top of page two. As the thread grows, the link still goes to the same top of page two. It's like an internal flag gets mis-set and stuck (I'm guessing). (Like https://www.bikeforums.net/bicycle-m...l#post21332424 always goes to the top of page two.)
And in *this thread*, from the "search results" for my posts the link to my post (#post21330067) goes to the top of page one.
Works the same whether logged in or out.
Many/most threads seem to work OK.
Anyway thanks for looking at it.
