Pantograph Bike Parts
I've been doing a bit of pantograph or engraving work on both old and new bicycle components in the last few years so I thought I'd show a few one here as I know a few people have asked me to post some when I've got to at least 10 posts.
There is a lot more than this which can be viewed on my flickr account here https://www.flickr.com/photos/pantoparts/
and I have a few on Facebook too here https://www.facebook.com/groups/1095...?ref=bookmarks

Great work, you should post this over at the Classic & Vintage subforum.

Thanks for the heads up, is there a way to 'share ' it ? Or do I rewrite the pst again? Skip that I've figured it out

Absolutely beautiful - first time I ever thought a four-arm crank looked good. Did you simply buff off the black finish? I was also under the impression that modern brake levers were carbon - apparently not

Thank you I’m glad you like my work.
Yes I use a chemical process initially before polishing but most of the cranks start out silver although I’ve done black and a combine of black and silver, examples below. Ditto with brake levers I do both black and silver👍

Nice work. I'm not a great fan of pantographing because a lot of it is overdone. Yours is very tasteful.

Beautiful work. As good as it has ever been done. Definitely put this up at C&V.
If you don't already know Chris Howard and cycloretro.com take a look. He has a couple tricks up his sleeve beyond what you are showing. If you were to show him your work he would immediately be another fan.

@sjn1892 you aren't taking on work are you???? I have a 7400 crankset that I would love to get done for a Phil Wood Apple VeloXS bike with the Phil script and a touch up of the DA logo and of course some nice polish.
