Inverness, Florida - Heard a lot about the Wthlacoochie, Finally got there on a chilly January day, which spoiled the fun a bit.

Shark Valley in Everglades, run by the National Park Service. They could be dormant alligators, as it was high 50's.Don't count on it.

I took another ride today,...it was way too windy for me to be riding a week after knee surgery. When I arrived back home I felt like I'd biked a marathon,...

Nice, nice. I have to ask. Is that a standard seat post? And what is the distance from seat to BB.

Good luck and God Speed on the knee surgery.

I believe it's a standard seatpost. I'm not sure of the distance between the seat to BB, but it's more than adequate for my 5'11" frame.

I do have certain dislikes about this bike that I'd not heard were an issue. The folding is horrible, and there's no way to keep the bike folded unless I use a velcro strap. I replaced the riser handlebar, as it's totally unnecessary for my riding style. I put a straight bar in it's place. Now, these may be non-issues for you.

The thing I'm totally pissed off about is the rear rack,...it's unusable. I can't use a trunk bag with it, because the heel strike is unbearable. I'm either going to remove the rack completely, OR get a rack that would work with a larger wheeled bike,...so it's a bit higher up. Right now I'm finding this bike to be a bit of an,...annoyance,...to say the least.

Oh, yes, 1 more thing. The Sturmey-Archer 8 speed rear hub has so much DRAG!!! Ugh,...I'm experiencing "buyers remorse",...

And thank you for the well wishes.

sturmey archer hub 8 speed will break in...mine took 500km to become nicer and smother.

about racks on downtube mini....i have a very similar bike dahon curve d3 and solve all issues in rear rack using the tubus dropout extenter, whose push rach 2 centimeters back.

i had the same concerns about this hub.
about rack, what works for me is to push the entire rack 2 centimeters back.
i use a regular rack and panniers for travel.
this was done with tubus dropout extension
no more heel strikes!

I'm contemplating a larger rack,...but I'm still annoyed that I'd need to swap it out. Thanks again!

Edit: This bag works for me,...

I've had a Sturmey 8 in service on my principle non-folder for 10 years (early adopter!) and it's free peddling and smoother than my Rohloff that cost 10X as much.

Check:
1) that the cones aren't too tight.
2) that there's adequate lubrication.

I see that the kickstand at front wheel comes standard for Lift. Does it work well? The effective stem length is pretty unusual too. Since you ride the bike it must function adequately though.

I luv the videos Dan Burkhart does,...

Anyway, the hub is working correctly. I just need to break it in. The Kenda tires are probably what I need to swap out. I'm contemplating another set of tires,...the Continental Road Tour City. I'm ordering this weekend,...

Great photos @jonmanjiro , @bugly64 and @docpickles !

Do I spy Litepro cranksets on two of the three? If so I'm curious about their performance and durability. The price is certainly appealing.

Revelo feels like a road bike, obviously won't coast as well because of the small tires and you have to watch balance when you do a simultaneous shoulder check + turn signal because it's skinny. I think the wheelbase is 880mm.

The Lift has a regular stand for the road, the front kick is for when the bike is folded. It tucks between the two wheels like this:

Cool design!

I purchased the crankset from a vendor on Etsy for $83. They don't say Litepro on them. I like the way they look and more importantly I like the ride quality. The titanium bottom bracket helps, too.

Sure from me too. Its an Alfine 8-speed hub with CDX Gates Carbon belt drive. I sometimes think about swapping out the Alfine 8 for an Alfine 11 to get some extra gearing on the top end (current gear inch range is 27 -83), but for most purposes the 8-speed is sufficient, and has about the same gearing as a -12% 6-speed Brompton so I shouldn't really complain anyway.
