Generally cycling on the roads here is dangerous due to the appalling attitude of motorists here, and sad to say there are more atrocious drivers than benevolent ones.

There are a lot of bike shops here, and prices here are normally cheaper than other countries. The bike scene here is certainly evolving, but it still has a long way to go before it becomes like the USA or Europe.

So the only place to cycle in Singapore is on the roads and risk getting killed by aggressive drivers? Guess it's kind of like Hong Kong, although there are some extremely crowed bike paths available...

nice bike you, got there
1. Here is my newest Mongoose Bosberg carbon with Sram Rival. Great great bike for the money.
2. Litespeed Solano with Dura Ace 10 speed. Traded in my VOrtex for this one and very happy I did.
3. Trek 5500 with Dura Ace 9 speed. Love this paint scheme, favorite of all the Tours won my LA. Don't care if I look like a groupie, I am a grown boy and can do what I want and not care what the pompous ***** roadies think.
4. My Scott Speedster flat bar for tooling around town. Ultegra 9. Nice bike.
5. Litespeed Classic, my oldest ride and most reliable and bullet proof. Dura Ace 9 speed. Kinda my beater bike now.

Finally got around to taking a picture of my new-to-me bike.
It's a 2006 Giant TCR Alliance TM bike, in the now collector's item T-Mobile livery. The previous owner is ranked 2 in Israel's road masters 4 category (which explains the 30/42/52 triple I find useful, as my area is quite hilly.)
My only gripe is with the wheels, which are really heavy. I plan to build some Ultegra-Aeroheads wheels when I'll have the funds.
I used to ride MTBs (which explains the SPD pedals,) but I'm finding road riding much more fun. So much fun, I don't think I'll go off-road again...

That is one of the most beautiful Colnagos I have seen in here. The paint jobs on most of them are a bit too "busy" for my tastes...yours is a beauty.
Glad you posted the pic...here in BF it is all about protocol.
Cheers,
Brian

Thanks. I had to wait a while because, although it is not a custom color scheme, it was not in stock. Apparently there are certain colors that are prepared in advance and kept in stock and for other, even if they are in their catalog, you just have to wait.
I did not mind. I had not sold my previous bike and the waiting was worth it.

My latest build, in at 15.15 lbs. I'm not sure yet if I'm done or if I'll change a few details here and there.
