This is not a Carbon-R, it's an Ironman Carbon
Vintage Centurion Carbon-R 58cm Lugged Road Frameset Frame Fork | eBay?
This very well may be one of my previous frames. I had two in that size and both ended up in California. But, for those who may want to know, and those that may not and are too lazy to move to a different thread, here's the rundown:
The frame for sale definitely has the '88 serial number; the Ironman Carbon was a 1988 model with Dura Ace 2x7. Note the fork crown and the wishbone crown. Both are curved, both have high shoulders which pretty much match each other when you look at the "lines" of the frame. The shoulder on the fork was well above the rim. This was the Ironman Carbon fork and wishbone. The fork was more flexible than many preferred, but on a long day without a lot of descending, it was smooth.
The Carbon-R was not a US market model, came with tricolor 600 2x7. The fork shoulder was much lower, and not rounded. The shoulder seam was below the level of the rim, and this geometry made the fork less flexible, especially when combined with the straight wishbone at the rear.
If the frame was my size, I'd consider it, but I'd consider the price of new VeloCals, time spent polishing those lugs, and then clear coat over everything. Still, for the scarcity, it's tempting. When I did have one of those in my size, I used a Cannondale Slice carbon fork and it rode well.
He's represented it well, and is exactly right: the bb numbers are NOT the frame sizes. The frame takes a 25.0 seat post. Everything else is C&V standard: 28.6 seat tube, English BB threading, 700c. It has no problem with a 130mm rear hub, brake mounting is recessed.

And this, of course, is also an Ironman Carbon. But here you get the entire bike.

Not a 34-speed cassette
No, this is not a 34-speed cassette, but rather my collection of spare used Dura Ace cogs for my 7-speed Dura Ace FH-7400 freehub that is installed on my Centurion Ironman. I also own three spare new-old-stock Dura Ace cogs. Despite the enormity of my collection, I do not have even one spare 28-tooth cog, so I'm still in the market for cogs.
Here's my inventory of spare cogs for my FH-7400 freehub, used and new combined:
Threaded
13T (1)
14T (1)
16T (1)
With Spacer
14T (2)
15T (2)
Plain
15T (3)

20T (4)

Man I just missed an 87 locally that was listed for $100. I still want to try one of these out even though I don't really need another bike.

Red and white Expert sitting on the Baltimore CL. 54cm for $270.

Robbie, trying to get myself in good shape for SOTR. Honey dos and crappy weekend weather are killing it. Looks like spring is finally here, so the riding should pick up.
