Increased capacity bottles?
I知 trying to find larger water bottles than the 24oz I carry right now but am having no luck. The problem is finding a larger bottle that will still fit into a bottle cage and everything I知 finding tends to be wider rather than taller. I知 not interested in any type of bladder/backpack device.
Anyone know a source?

If you don't have to have something that is specifically made to be a bike bottle, then you might find something that is in the sport drink section of your local convenience store. That is were I get my bottles.
24 oz is about the limit for me though for fitting in my bottle cages. I can stuff a couple extra in my back jersey pockets if I have to have more. I use a powdered mix for my bottles so it's easier to carry that and just refill when water available along the way.

Gatorade makes some 32 oz bottles you can often find at any sporting goods store. The Zefal Magnum is actually less expensive though.

There are (AFAICT) three companies selling 1-liter bottles for bike bottle cages: Science in Sport, Elite, and Zefal. Some of these are hard to find in the USA, or are overpriced here. Zefals seem like the best deal.
However, Soma Fabrications sells a colossal 38-oz bottle. Depending on your frame and where you're mounting it, you might need to get a Wolf Tooth bottle-cage repositioning dingus. And perhaps an extra-stout bottle cage.
