Honest Input
To get the best price for your bike, you must show it in the most favorable light. The stem height is disproportionate to the frame size, as is the seatpost height. Adjust these to give a better sense of proportion, and list the bike according to the correct recommended rider height, which might be, say, 5'5" to 5'7". The frame size is 54 cm?
I sold an earlier 56cm 718a for $305 in very good, fully refurbished condition to a taller female triathlete in 2017, in the DC market. The market is softer now, and we don't know your location.
$225? It's a good bike and you have good tires on it. Presentation and the ad language might help you with the sale. Good luck.

If you've already bought it, then it's worth what you paid. This assumes that traditional market forces were in play...
You did fine. As I recall, the 718a, though one size too small for me, had a somewhat fast, racy feel to it. Stiff in cornering, I liked it.

If you lower the handlebar, you could easily sell it for about 400$CAD here in Quebec.

The Miyata 721A was 1990 only and had an MSRP of $525 US. The frame is a bonded aluminum main triangle mated to CrMo stays. Basically, it was Miyata's attempt as a randonneur model, as evidenced by the geometry and presence of rack eyelets on the upper stays and a triple crankset. Beside the fork, the stem, saddle, bar tape and pedals are replacements. I'd value it at ~$200, in an average market.
