The Zero 1 is anodized according their site -- just the black version though, white is painted. You should be ok since the logo is probably painted on. I'd try it on the "torque 6nm" first to see how easily it comes off, then proceed based upon the outcome.

Actually, does the whole thing look clear coated? or are the Logo's semi raised from the black or is it all smooth?

Nah, back in the day of multi-speed screw-on freewheels, many models used splined removers like that. It's actually a very good design that virtually eliminates any stripping of the freewheel body during removal.

That is just a variant among many on the same concept. I have over a dozen freewheel removers, which is truly nuts.

Not sure about the seams, but they are very smooth. I think my set were the last pair he had. He said he should be getting some more in April. It's best to email or call.

So, I found some cleat mounting hardware for my sweet NOS vintage cycling shoes. I had to drive to two different Lowe's stores to find what I needed. The weather is miserable today, so I'm going to try them out on my rollers.
