White or hot pink Arundel Synth Gecko. Funky bar wrap but great for the right project. No adhesive, it's thick, comfy 100% silicone, reusable and washable, which helps with white and colors. Easy to wrap, but not easy to wrap so that it looks traditionally "good". It tends to be chunky and looks like articulated electrical conduit, or sausages. I've used it in hi-vis yellow on my purple frame bike just for the glaring contrast.

I like pink. Pink is the right thing to do. Black only shows wear, not filth. White is nice, but not really right in this application. Besides, too many bikes out there have white tape. Boring! Gold. Been there, done that, never really made sense.

I always get comments from others about the pink cork ribbon I use on my road bike. People are surprised a man has pink tape!! I use it to remind me of the great rides my daughter and I have had together. Pink is her color of choice, and she wrapped the bars herself! PINK for the WIN!

Choice ride!

Don't ponder. A black saddle is the 'capo'. The frame contrast would pop beautifully.

I have a Zunow with many loud colors and so to tone it down, yet emphasize the wild paint, I selected a black saddle and bar wrap.

First choice, black saddle and tape.
White would also look good, but for me the black would balance the tires.
In either case, I would probably lose the wheel decals; personal preference.

Turtle has a point. You might need to see a couple different ones but if you found a gold that really worked it'd be awesome with a black saddle. Or any other accent color really.

Leave it as it is in your first image. Pinky on everything will be too matchy-matchy, plus likely to have varying shades of pink. White saddle with black bar take, given the color scheme on the frame is perfect.

Black or white as long as saddle and tape match. White would look very nice but if you ride often, it won’t stay white for long. Here is my 1987 Miyata 712 Competition done up in white, even unto the pedals, straps and cables.

My two least favorite bar tape colors are black and white (not really colors, are they?), but in your case I vote "white". For something completely different, how about black, gray, white camo (with a black saddle)? I had this on the Raleigh for awhile, but ended up with honey color like the saddle.

Which color bar tape?

I'd have to remove the rim labels first. It's too much. The frame and paint are so good looking and bold already, the nascar labels make my head hurt. Then I'd have to mount a black saddle before deciding on the tape. Would probably go with Fizik...

As said already, Fizik white tape stays clean and cleans easily.

White is pro. White says your mechanic rewraps your bars after every stage.

I'd go white tape and saddle.

^Absolutely yes! Those wheel decals are too much. Yuck.

And, I'd second those who voted for black saddle. I'd go a bit lighter, charcoal grey for the bar wrap. There's too much already going on with the frame paint. No need to bring the eye up to the saddle or bars. Black/dark grey. Lose the wheel decals.

Good idea on letting the buyer decide. And good luck on the sale-

LawsonMitchell You may want to include in your auction that the fork had been bent and subsequently repaired. That's sort of an important disclosure to make, don't you think?

Last thing you want is someone (BF'er or otherwise) getting the bike, realizing it had been previously damaged, then filing a 'not as described' against you, and you end up getting a bike back after paying shipping both ways, paying a full refund and strike against your eBay seller account ...

Skinwall tyres, black saddle, white Benotto tape. Black stem for bonus points. Would probably rotate the bars down if it was me. Pink is cool...

Arundel Art Gecko tape in pink - that way you get pink AND black in a nice design.
cable housing white to match the frame accents.
steel bottle cages.

I saw that auction last night while looking around Ebay and was surprised by the lack of disclosure, too. However, since the bike is unlikely to go anywhere at the current price...

I'm sure the seller will do the right thing eventually

You list the bike for that price on 1/20, after posting it here with a bent fork, then start this thread?

"His shop sticker is still on the stay and his signature on the seat tube." Right. But who straightened the bent fork?

Wow! Thank you crank_addict .
