I think the cranks are worth over $20

Tall Team Time
Vintage 1984 RaleighTall Road Bike - $90 (Winston Salem)
Posted about 2 hours ago:Great Christmas present for the tall man who wants to give a well-running road bike a try without spending a bundle.
I'm 6'3", and this tall bike has been a good fit for me (see the seat position in photos). According to articles I've seen, this 27" frame is good for men up to 7' tall.
The aerobar (extension in front of handle bars) is great for getting under the wind. Makes for easier peddling against the wind or at higher speeds. You can remove it if you want.
There are some rust spots, but nothing serious. This bike has lots of miles left.
Original owner.
bicycle frame material: steel
bicycle type: road
brake type: caliper
condition: good
frame size: 27 inches
handlebar type: aero
make / manufacturer: Raleigh
model name / number: Team USA
wheel size: 26.5 in"

I always love to see frames from makers who have recognizable last names. I have a very recognizable last name. Were I to begin building frames - and I have very seriously considered it - I would have a hard choice: Either use my last name and worry about copyright and trademark infringements down the line, or just create a brand name and logo/trademark for my frames. For me, it wouldn't be so much about possible income from the work, as much as it would be for the pride in artistry. No one could argue that a frame with the builder's name on it keeps the memory of that person alive. Hey, even bikes that were built in the thousands with a person's name on it keeps their memory alive. Dave Scott comes to mind! What sort of liabilities would fall upon Curt Goodrich if he only banded his frame as Goodrich? Musings... hmm... *nods off*
