Replacement Sun Tour Superbe Brake Hoods?
These Sun Tour Superbe brake hoods have given their last full measure, but finding actual Sun Tour Superbe brake hoods is a unicorn search. However there has to be a work around brake hood and so I ask what make/model of brake hood are you using to replace your worn out/destroyed Superbe brake hoods.
My thanks.

Superbe were campy compatible. Here's one option.

Salamandrine, perfect
They are even in gumwall, perfect. I was afraid I would have to settle for black or the off brown, already ordered a set.
My thanks.
If there are other options do share as this is going into this bikes folder so future replacement sources are not forgotten.
I'll be writing about this bike in a week or so, a Father's Day gift.
Aaaargh, they must be out of stock as when tried to order none of the choices gum, black or white would light up and so no order would go through, ...suggestions?

Yes, CycleryNorth81, just found them there and placed order so all is good. Strange that Velo Orange would be out, hope all is well with them, too many bike retailers disappearing.

Must have been a website issue or something. I just tried it and it worked. I have these waiting for a build - I think the levers and hoods will go on a Mercian frame.

Thanks again all, great to know these will be a good fit as have had to use other black make do on another set of Superbe levers, now I have the option of going back to gumwall, looks so much better. These will be going on a nice build, will post in a week of so when the Father's Day bike arrives.

Perfect fit, but PITA to install. Patience, maybe some dish detergent.... If they were easy to install, I guess they wouldn't fit all that well....
