They are pretty nice. I am actually looking to get a Z1 because I am getting a little fed up with the fit and strap issues of my Giro Synthe and it is reaching 3 years or more. I wish Giro would have been of some help but they were like "yeah you just need to sew the straps yourself" and I was like seriously on a 300 wing-wang, retail, helmet, nothing. They keep coming loose and are a pain to get back together, plus my hair is growing so I think it is a bit more volume in the helmet so it is getting a little tighter than I want with a cycling cap.

Yeah, I had a Giro once. Fit on my head was terrible, probably won't do that again.

I probably should have gotten the size up but at the time it fit fine then again I just let the hair grow all natural like. It is actually the most comfortable helmet I have had the pleasure of wearing, just that one doesn't hold up so well.

You'll probably be happy with the Lazer, they are Belgium based and who knows cycling better than the Belginians, Eddy Merckx, Tour of Flanders, Freddy Maertens, Rik Van Looy, Leige-Bastogne-Leige, Greg Van Avermaet, Ettix-QS Sven Nys and Lotto-Soudal...Hellooooo! Ok France maybe but nobody eats French waffles they eat Belgium Waffles

Waffles > croissants. The French can't even win their own race anymore.

Some new MKS GR-10s, after one of my previous ones broke, and a Parktool PW-4 because I don't ever want to have to buy another pedal wrench.

Camelbak - because it's freaking hot and I need a lot of cold liquid, and don't care if I look dorky or dorkier.

Going to build up (or farm it out to one of my co-workers) some new wheels for the Langster at some point in the nearish future

I have the front hub so just two rims and a rear AC New Sheriff SL hub.

Be careful leaning your bike I was in a rush to grab something and it fell cracking my left lever. Luckily SRAM allows you to buy just one.

You must've hit yours just right in order to break it. Mine have been crashed, slammed, and banged a ton of times and they're still going strong.

Wanted to switch to a lower gear ratio for commuting through the hotter months. First ride today on 48x18 (coming from 48x17) and it felt really nice to spin a little more and what few hills I have were slightly easier to maintain a decent speed on.

Figured I'd also upgrade from a ****ty SRAM chain to the KMC 710SL

I think it hit harder just because I had some weight in my Rando bag so it fell a bit harder. Luckily it was non drive side.

My velo orange touring saddle finally arrived. I ordered a bent badge (scratch and dent) one that was on sale and it arrived with no bent badge and no scratches or dents so i'm really happy about that. It seems comfortable so far but I only tested it for a few kms today

The bolt holes look too close together. Seems like a crack is inevitable. Confused.

I hope I don't offend, but since you asked. That strikes me as an extremely poor design for a couple reasons. The material that is wider than the bolt span in the center of the plate serves no purpose. Only any material that is within the bolt pattern (draw an X from bolt to bolt) will provide any meaningful clamping support. Those bolt holes are way too close together. There isn't enough material between them to tolerate a good cranking down. I don't care what size bolts they are, or how low the official torque spec is, that's just asking for trouble. It makes for inefficient clamping power while simultaneously begging to create cracks.

Ah I see what you mean. It's a stupid light stem for aluminum (IMO) and it has seen some #$%^. I wasn't surprised to see it fail (hairline crack near each bolt), especially since I don't own a torque wrench. The bars have never slipped.

We shouldn't need a torque wrench for small bits. Seriously. If stuff is that frail, it's being under built.

I've owned two Ritchey products. Both were defective and literally fell apart. Literally, crumbled to pieces. Not because of a manufacturing or materials problem, but because the design was poop. Never again. Now I examine stuff more closely before buying.

I'll stop before I start talking about Thomson's "aerospace precision".
