A fe questions on Tubs
Just installing 1st set of tubs - allowing first coat of glue to dry (flwg Park's instructions)..
My questions if anyone knows is :
1. If the tire flats can it be repaired ? if so, how ?
2. Can I use a sealant inside the tire to prevent flats ? like stans - if so how do I put it in ?
Finally does anyone carry a spare tire and attempt to change it in a race ? or accept if they flat they just pull out of the race ? My tubs are only for racing.....
Thanks..

1. Yes they can be repaired. remove the tire; undo the threads, repair, sew it back up.
2. Vittoria Pit stop. I use it on clinchers too
3. Most racers have a spare set of wheels in the pit. no time for repairs.

I've tried repairing sew ups and its like doing abdominal surgery on a snake. Its never worked for me, theres always a bulge. I would never race on a repaired sew up.
Others swear by repairing sew ups.

Other people with no sewing skills just spend the money to get them repaired at https://www.tirealert.com/
