I need a new front tire. Suggestions and recomendations PLEASE
As the title states, I am screwed in the aspect that I am at the library(two miles from my residence) and when I exit the building I find a long bent slash on my front tire. What a great 1 week anniversary present from my POS Schwinn. Anyhow, I was wondering what kind of wheel you all would recommend a noob such as myself to get. Also, I heard that a bike shop can install some sort of inpenetrable kevlar into the wheel- is there such a thing and do you all know how much it costs to do that? Thanks for all your help guys.

Impenenetrable - no.
General answer to a non-flat-prone tire: Continental Gatorskin and Specialized Armadillo. Gatorskin is lighter, rolls easier, and is easier to puncture (but still quite difficult compared to normal tires) than the Armadillo's, which are heavier, a little slower, and harder to puncture.
I run the Armadillo's as my training tire.

I recommend the Continental Ultra Gatorskin which can be had here for a good price https://www.probikekit.com/display.php?code=Y1320
