$180 ironman in SAMO with a stuck post.

https://losangeles.craigslist.org/ws...985816450.html

Theres some univegas in Carson, Los Angeles. Seems like the same guy always has some cheap well used univegas and centurions. Never bought from him, but he has some bargains for sure. If you're close by there in socal, search in carson craigslist for a well worn in bargain rider. Actually now that I say this, theres zero up for him. More are probably coming..

I found one with nice big 22's and 5spds to fold and stash in my car.. but now I find I enjoy riding it from home and never even stash it. Heavy little beasts but great for city type cruising around. Mine was a dude's parts donor 2nd bike with a stripped crank and missing bits. I "interference fit" a bmx pedal in there and been riding it ever since. The nice cargo racks come in handy for store runs.

The folding feature could be useful if you forget your lock.. just origami it up good around the bike rack and hopefully no thief will be able to figure it out.. I wouldn't pay more than double digit $$ on one myself, up to you.

If you like that Ironman at $180, what about this one at $130? It's a little scratched up, but that's a perfect excuse to get rid of that hideous paint scheme and replace it with something less garish.

I've had my mind on mountain bikes lately and haven't been trolling Craigslist. But today I did. I had the idle thought of making a single speed bike I can toss in the back of the pickup for RV trips, but I'm too spoiled now, I love my MTB too well.

But this caught my attention.

Nice... I love it. Ever since I got my TerraRunner I've really been into older MTBs.

The bullmoose bars are cool but those centerpull brakes and the rest of the components are fairly low end and that makes me think the frame is too. I think you can do better for 140.

'84 Trek 760 53cm

Seen on Phoenix CL

Looks in OK shape, though I'd check the QR on that front wheel.... Not bad for $125.

It is my size, and my color (although I like the orange metallic Int'l better). If that was local, I'd probably already be on my way to get it! That's a killer price assuming there's nothing wrong with it (dents/dings/etc).

Don't even need to worry about the seat post or stem being stuck! It's not installed!

It's so not installed that it's not even part of the package as far as I can see.

That's an odd number of wheels.
