when do you normally ride? I try to get in two short rides during the week and at least one longer ride on the weekends. I always see others riding, ecpsecially on weekends. I am always open to hooking up with someone for a group ride if anyone is ever interested.

In this heat I have not been riding. like to do 50 miles or more on weekends and some 20 mile rides during the week. (usually on the trainer)
I am a Clyde and do about 11 mph. I am not able to keep up with group rides. I am training for the Houston Tour de Cure Sept 24th

Just any day I feel like riding that area. I will usually ride it in the middle of the day during the week due to less traffic as I ride alone during the week.

My buddy and I regularly ride from Porter up 1314 all the way to 105 (on Saturday mornings) and then turn around... we do around 21-22mph pace. It's a nice enjoyable ride, around 45 miles.

You can also come out to Westlake Houston Parkway and Kingwood Dr on Saturday mornings. There is a group of about 10-15 that we ride with once or twice a month. We'll do a loop around Lake Houston. That is a long (~60 miles) ride and usually very fast, around 23-24mph.
