ISO and for trade thread part 5

Pedalin' Erry Day
ISO down tube cable stops, the old clamp-on style. They can be Campy, Shimano, or Suntour - it does not matter. What does matter is that they are clean. I'm not looking for NOS, just gently used clean stops. Oh, it is for a Raleigh Gran Sport/Grand Sports.
I have stuff to trade or dinero.

Miele Man,
If you can get me specific numbers I will go through the 100 or so spindles in our co-op to find you the right one. I would like total spindle length, right side ledge to end of spindle and left side ledge to spindle end. And if you have it, the number stamped into the spindle. TIA, MH

ISO or WTT Shimano SL-BS50: a six speed bar end shifter.
Have: Shimano 10s Bar End set, a ton of Tri-Color stuff, or just ask - you never know!.
Your consideration is appreciated.

I should clarify that this could be either 7 speed or 6 speed with an insert. It should still have 6 clicks, but the cable pull is changed.

adding some un-called-for details the SL-BS50 AND the SL-6400 DT shifters both use a little C-shaped clip that fits the cable groove in the SIS shifter which effectively increases the diameter of the "barrel" with 6-speed, and is left off for a "smaller diameter" 7-speed. It's a small part that's easy to lose but if you need one you might be able to scavenge it from an SL-6400 (probably many more of those were sold).

I'd have to try it out to remember but IIRC this clip does nothing to affect the number of clicks so I believe you have a "ghost shift" at the end of the range if you use them for 6-speed and yes it's your RD adjustment screw that prevents it from over-shifting...but I could be remembering wrong, and not the 1st time THAT happened!

Modifies the radius, not the clicks.
