Ha, I knew someone was gonna say that! I think the pic mis-represents the angles slightly. That was probably the first pedal stroke coming out of the corner, if you notice the guy behind is pretty much in sync based on his position.................it was the penultimate lap afterall

Here's a link to pictures I took at the CX race today. https://s422.photobucket.com/albums/p...U%20CX%20Race/
And here are some of my favorites, these aren't me suffering, but they're other people suffering.
I can't wait until I can get a real camera. This one is really slow, and hard to focus in time to get a shot. Not all of those are in perfect focus, but the suffering was too good to delete them.

Making a kilometer blurry
This thread has been orphaned for a couple weeks. So, not racing:
Jonathan and I on Beauford during Tour das Hugel (this section is 20% -- the road is heavily textured from grinding so that cars can get up it in the rain):

wow, you're racing with the big boys. Looks like a national champ and a Columbia-High Road rider in there with you.

Because people in this race like to take corners wide. I like to be on the inside.

Nice to see that Rock Racing was still able to field a team.

Robncircus I saw your pic, looks like me. Always the smallest one in the group. I have done a lot of TT suffering but this was my first crit. I just stayed in the back, no real suffering til the end.
p.s. I this thread, it's what keeps me reading BF. I thought since I look at it so much Id do my part and participate ;-)

Found these pictures of me racing this summer. Nashvillecyclist.com criterium, 7/29 or 7/30.
In the blue and white. Feel free to have a good laugh at the gray cotton athletic socks and orange helmet. The kid to my right looking cool as a cucumber won this race solo, while I died a thousand deaths to finish third.
A longer view of us rounding turn 5. Out of 8. Damn, this course was brutal.
Just so you can see that I really was suffering. Bad.
2010 suffering will be here soon! I'm looking forward to it.
