From what I was told, 5 M35+ and 5 M45+ were to be tested. But 10 M35+ were. There has been a lot of useless speculation about a specific team, and specific members of that team.
I know the guys personally. I seriously, seriously doubt any bad behavior.
Most of those numbers are from "that" team.

Thanks, When we started the final hill I was 6th and passed everyone going up the cobbles, then stayed OTS until the finish. I kept thinking there was a train of riders behind me ready to pass, but the image shows otherwise.

does this count as suffering? It's a promo for the tricycle TT a local century is going to hold. Gotta rock the TT gear when you can...

Throw the stick!!!!
In my previous life, sprinting for the win, I'm in the purple/green jersey.
In this one I was suffering in a time trial that I ended up losing (came in second) by seven seconds.

Making a kilometer blurry
Off the front with a group for 3 miles, I'm dying here, trying to build a bigger gap (the field is just out of frame to the left). This was a first-pedal-stroke attack, and I wished I'd had time to warm up:

First (solo) break of the day (stuck this one for a while):
Second break of the day, after two friends bridged up (stuck this one for quite a while, almost stayed off till the end):
there was suffering.

3rd wheel (with the drop bars -- yes I forgot to remove my frame pump. again.):
(from monskat's smugmug)
I do think the position is pretty good though, as my roof is as low as shorter folks.

some snaps from yesterday, where i did what i could to help a friend, and another bf member, in a post-industrial crit.
marking a danger man.
bridging to a break.
catching my breath.
digging in.
