hmmmm....I have pictures of Crash716 suffering but don't want to embarrass a fellow teammate...what to do? what to do? Don't worry, you don't look that bad. It's pre-season and you'll shed that winter coat soon.

Great guy - fn strong too. I thought he was taking the year off to try his hand at some other stuff. I knew he had moved to the Austin area. Y'all will have your hands full with him

Yeah, in the few conversations I've had with Patrick, he's the real deal. On and off the bike. I look forward to racing with him in the future, but he's gonna kill me.

Having raced against him last year he certainly is the real deal and very soft spoken and laid back. I'm you guys will all get along well, he has a ton of experience and will be sadly missed here.

First real race of the season. Central Coast Circuit Race #2, near Monterey. White jersey:

7th out of 35, E5. Looking forward to doing that course again. Five laps of a fairly hilly 4.3 mile circuit.

From the looks of that strung out field, you were't the only one. Keep it up.

Nebraskacycling, I hope you don't take this image the wrong way. Just in good fun on the mention of a demotivational. Let me know if you want the file.

It takes a lot to own up to something like that, and it's really a bummer whenever it happens. Glad you're alright.

milliron, will you be in the 5's much longer? I was thinking of doing one of the Central Coast Circuit Races in the next month or two, maybe I would get to race with you.

You like the course? Was there a pretty full field?

That race would be an easy sell to the wife - "Hey, let's spend a weekend in Monterey!"

Yeah, that's what I did. We went out to brunch and then did some wine tasting after there the race. Good day.

Great course. Closed to traffic. Enough climbing to thin the field out a bit. Fun descent into two turns then a short rise to the finish/start line.

Think I'm pretty much done with 5s if I can motivate myself to get out to the EB crit in an hour.
