Statesville (I think) - where I got me arse handed to me.
Second cat3 crit I did. Got there late, no warm up, and blew a tire before the start. Got 19th.

I found a pair of older ones...
Me when I was allowed to rock a stache when I had long hair. Very hot, very tough race.
Back when I raced karts. This race was particularly draining because it was a knock-down-drag-out fight for an hour with two other guys. Also, I was at a huge horsepower disadvantage since I had a can-type exhaust which is like a restrictor plate, while the other guys had pipe's which is much less restrictive.

Cool pictures. While I've never raced (except for a few alley-cats in my courier days) this has motivated me to get in shape for next year. Looks like fun.
Cheers

It's a TT, but I am definitely suffering.
I think the photographer must have tilted the shot, since I am in my climbing gear and NOT going downhill.
The hump is a camelbak - probably didn't need it that day but it was like 80 degrees.

Looks like there was a lot of team representation. No wonder they caught you.
