Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Anyone have one of these? (Trek front derailleur hanger)

My trek dealer can't get one, the local collective doesn't have one, and I need one.

#253438 front derailleur hanger TREK OCLV Compact - SOS Hanger

Please excuse my posting this here. This keeping me from finishing a build and I thought maybe someone here would have one.

Thanks.

Rare as hen's teeth by the looks of it.

Currently listed 253438 as not available.
Trek Front Derailleur Hangers - ACTiV Cycles

Can't speak German but the text is green while the other two are red so maybe that means they are in stock:
Schaltungen

But this is in English. Available to order though which could mean that they might not be able to get one either:

Damn. I've been searching two days and you pull out three links in two hours. Thanks!

Last one won't ship outside the uk but I may try contacting them and ask.

For now I'll try filing on my clamp on adapter.

Thanks again. Very helpful.

FOUND ONE! Thanks to you I thought to try Bontrager rather than Trek and found some in Minnesota.

Awesome.
