Does anyone use the Saris fork mounts inside an suv or mini van?

I haven't but you could try the reviews on Saris -- which I think you'll get more reading reviews of the tracks, rather than the mounts

I've used it on a removable bike board in a minivan, and now on a slip-on bike mount setup in my Westy. Works. You see it here mounted below a QR front hub that is used for "lawyer nub" fork tips. Do you have a specific question regarding its operation or durability? I used to use it a lot more than I do now but have had no trouble with it. Mine may actually be a Hollywood brand product. It's been a long time since I got it and used to sell both.

They are almost a commodity. For decades I have used Saris or other brand fork mounts in various vehicles. Usually I attached to to a piece of plywood, but sometimes attached to a 2 X 4 or even directly to the bed of my old pick up truck. My go-to attachment method is to buy T-nuts from the hardware store so my mounting board will lie flat. The first fork mounts that I ever used were home made but the commercial ones are so cheap that it isn't worth it to me to make my own anymore.

Thanks all. I went ahead and ordered two the mounts not the track they bolt to. I will use a board to mount them on. I see now that there are several different brands some from 39$ each to about 15$ each. I opted for the Saris brand at 30$ each. I may be paying for a brand name don't know, but for a few bucks I didn't want to risk it.

I found some old channel track at work and mounted the fork mounts on them. Works great. Now I need ideas on making some wheel holders. Saris has them but they are 49 bucks a piece.
