I have the correct rear derailleur.

Now I just need the bike to go with it.

I have an '87 Prelude in black that I really like. I've love to have a pink one. As of now my only pink bike is my 1985 Univega Super Speciale. This is as found...I don't have any current pictures.

What ? You've never heard of Fiori? That was made by Norco, but to sound more Italiano, mio amico!

Oh! That would make a terrific group picture for the Cape Cod ride don't you think?
That bike was just 23 pounds. With good balance and for only few seconds that's not that hard.

Maybe I should start a thread "Can your bike hold in one hand?"

That could be fun...

Imagine a Gitane InterClub track bike, freakishly large, repainted in this shade of pink, only a bit brighter, with no chrome and no other color on the frame. (Okay, add thin powder blue pinstriping aorund the lugs.) I had one back in the late 70s-early 80s. I had to leave it behind after college because I had absolutely no way to ship it or transport it.

Not a life-ruining experience, but it would be fun to have it now.

Does this qualify as pink ? Fuji calls it wine silver, others may call it champagne ? Mine is pretty much identical, except has a more modern Giant saddle on it. Cell phone takes lousy pics, so I'll put up the brochure picture.

these are very good observances, i actually didn't even notice that there was a strong positive reaction to pink bikes and biopace.
