power2max and ALHDU rotor 24 creaking
Hello
I replaced the original shimano 105 di2 crankset by Rotor ALDHU-R 24 with power2max ngeco powermeter
When i begin the ride , there is a creaking carbon sound only on the left side of the crank , and after 800 meters the sound disappeared , until another day when i start the ride
It make me crazy because the noise disapperead after 1 min , even if a pedaling with a lot of power
No creaking with the original 105 shimano crankset
Anyone have the same issue ?
i cleaned everything , grease etc
Thanks a lot

Are you certain all the chain ring bolts are tight. That was the cause of my similar noise a few years ago. But it was on a different crankset.
Is the left crank arm separate from the spindle? I use to have a RaceFace Cadence crank that required obscene amount of torque to get the crank arms on fully and no way to check that they were on fully. Other than the instructions said to tighten them till they wouldn't go down on the spindle any further. So that might be something to check also.
Also, did you put the old crank back in to see that the creak wasn't there? If not, then maybe something else happened coincidentally. Seat post creaks sound like the BB. Shorts rubbing on the saddle sometimes make noise too if you got some cleaner on the saddle such as ArmourAll.
Welcome to BF!

hello
thanks for your help
For ring bolts i used a 8nm couple as power2max documentation
Yes the left arm is separated , there is no play , its very solid , but still creaking
And with shimano 105 original crankset , no creaking at all
The mistery is why the creaking sound disappear after 800m ??and no creaking until another ride
