As of this morning, 266.9 miles in for March. I had a goal of 200, but I'm going for 300, maybe 350. Being out of work and in Florida is helping!

OK so I won't get the 1000 miles in this month. I will however get in more than what I would have been happy with, the 300-500 miles. So now lets try for another 100 - 250 on top of the 500.

We will have to varify your numbers. Please send over your log book and bike. We will try to have it back to you after I catch up.... I mean verify your numbers!

Great job. I am trying to break 500 but it will be a tough go. Cannot commute tomorrow and it sucks.

You want to stay away from the racks that connect soley to the seat post. If you look up racks for ortlieb panniers in google, you will find a lot of suggestions. I love my rack and I LOVE my ortliebs. Do you want to get new ortliebs or would you want used ones? I know of some used ones that are in great shape.

used works... all I know is I can wring the sweat out of my shirt when I get to work... trying to do this as cost effective as possible... don't wanna chew up the money I am saving on gas with buying more gear but if it make me more comfortable... it will be worth twice what I have to pay...

hhhuuuhhh huuhuhhhhh ...bike stuff.... cool

lol. I don't look at it by the year to date but rather month to date. Easier for me to wrap my head around. I am a simple guy!

Finally made it over 100 miles for month with 22 miles on Tuesday. Just added another 25 today, so at 139 for the month. This unseasonably warm and dry weather here in Pennsylvania has been great. Should make it to 200 for month.

Woke up this morning to 2 inches new snow, rats better load the bike up and drive to work. LBS has a spin class @ 5PM so at least I'll be able to get some type of riding in. By mid-morning snow is gone, turns out to be a beautiful spring day. Much too nice to go to a spin class. Decided to go climb a hill instead. Add 17.71 miles, 1234 elevation gain.

I hit my March goal today - got mile #200 and added an additional 10 for good measure. 11 rides so far, so I reckon I can squeeze in about 2 more. Going camping with the little man this weekend, so no rides, and flying to Canada on Wednesday, so it'll have to be Monday and Tuesday.

(patting self on back) Onward!

I finished my ride last night, rear cassette is shot, chain is toast, must have jumped off of something a little too hard, broke two spokes, oh well, got about 1200 miles out of that cassette and chain so i guess i shouldn't complain too much. Dropped the wheel off for repairs today, looked at the ODO and it said 374 for the month, I didn't realize i rode that far but i guess i did....on a MTB BTW, I bet I could do 800+ a month if I had a fast road bike. This bike is set up to be pretty quick for a MTB, but with the MS lights/batteries, it weighs in at about 34 pounds. It's not an easy bike to ride, it forces you to work hard.

I think we are right there on miles year to date. Do not have the numbers in front of me but I think we are close.

Why not bring your bike on the back of the RV? That would be awesome.

+13.2 miles. Also closing in on another milestone: Started tracking my rides last March 29. Since that date I've logged 2940 miles on the bike. I'll likely top 3K on Sunday.
