Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Mavic Cleats Availability

Hi,

I bought in 2011 a pair of Mavic Sprint pedals. I used them for about two years and switched to SPD pedals. I would like to use these pedals again but my cleats are worn out. I've been looking online and cannot find compatible cleats anymore since the only one I seem able to find are the new generation that are only compatible with the i'clic system. Should I just get rid of my pedals?

Here are the ones I need: Mavic Road Cleat Set - Road | Backcountry.com
Here are the only ones available now: Road iClic Cleats | Mavic

Thanks for your help!

Shimano road cleats (SPD-SL) may work....take yours to a shop and compare.

Well as you can see Mavic doesn't make those pedals or cleats anymore. At this point I would just get some Shimano or Look pedals and be done with it, otherwise you're going to be playing this game over and over and over.
