what levers to get for avid bb7 v brake type.

My recumbent frame broke and the replacement is disc only so along with the new wheels I need new brakes. Well avid bb7’s are in order but what levers to use with them? I have paul component love levers but they are a bit overkill for the job and they are spendy. I can sell them and have money left over. I don’t need the extra power they provide and I like a lever that is a bit more rounded.
I liked the feel of some shimano servo wave but they are pretty powerful and I don’t know if that is ok. They tend to take less movement then most other levers so you get more power sooner.

Avid suggests that you NOT use servo wave with their mechanical disc brakes. I'll suggest the Avid FR-5

More importantly, how does one break a recumbent?

Well who knows how I broke it(G) this is a limbo with a shock and I ran the show low with just enough air to keep it from bottoming out. way to much pedal bob otherwise.
I love a brake lever that has a light pull and is smooth.
